Strategy & Gameplan
Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex paired with Froslass punishes current meta decks that heavily rely on Abilities (like Drakloak, Fezandipiti ex, and Kirlia). Froslass places 1 damage counter on each Pokémon with an Ability during Pokémon Checkup. Combined with Spikemuth Gym (which inflicts damage whenever a Pokémon moves to the active spot) and Munkidori, this deck forces the opponent into uncomfortable prize trades and knocks out low-HP setup engines without needing large direct attack investments.
Turn 1 Execution
Focus on setting up Marnie's Impidimp, Snorunt, and Munkidori. Play Spikemuth Gym early to punish opposing retreat and switch moves.
Key Synergies
Froslass damages ability-reliant Pokémon passively, which fuels Munkidori's Adrena-Brain to heal your own side and concentrate damage on key threats.
